When you first open an account with B9, you are not required to verify your ID immediately. However, to gain full access to all of B9's services, it is essential to complete your registration.
Importance of Completing Your Registration
An incomplete registration or failure to submit your state-issued ID for verification through the B9 app will result in limited access to B9's services. This includes daily transaction limits and the inability to order a card for purchases.
To gain full access to B9's services, including the ability to order B9 Cards (virtual and physical) and conduct internal and external transfers, you must complete the full verification process. Until verification is complete, certain functionalities and transaction limits will remain restricted.

How to verify ID for full B9 access
You can verify your ID in two ways:
- Click on the yellow banner at the top of the Wallet tab
- Navigate through the menu: Profile -> ID
Simply follow one of these methods and scan your ID to complete the verification process.
Possible issues with ID verification
In case you fail to scan your ID or driver's license, there might be several reasons behind it. Here are a few things to check:

Expiration Date: Ensure your ID is not expired or that your document has an expiration date, as our system does not accept documents without an expiration date.
- Temporary ID: Ensure your ID is not temporary. Temporary IDs are also not accepted.
- Valid Physical Document: Use the original physical document, not printouts or digital pictures.
- Correct Document: The name on the document must match the name on file.
- Personal Document: Use your own document. Using someone else's document will result in denial.
- Existing Account: Ensure that you don't have an active account under a different phone number. If you have previously had a B9 account, trying to open a new one might cause verification issues. Contact support@bnine.com for assistance.
What if I don't have a valid ID?
If you don't have the ability to verify your ID but you need to withdraw the funds, no worries, here is what you can do:

ACH Pull:
- Use B9's account and routing number at a third-party bank to pull the funds.
- Be aware of the $250 daily limit. To withdraw $1000, you will need to pull $250 each day for four days.
- If you reach the limit, you will have 72 hours to verify your ID, or your account may be blocked.

- You can reach out to support@bnine.com and provide with your account and routing number for B9 to send funds to. However, please note that processing may take up to 14 days. For urgent needs, we recommend to opt for ACH Pull.
