How can I control which types of transactions are allowed on my B9 card?
You can control which types of transactions are allowed on your B9 card directly from the app.
To do this:
-
Open the app and go to the Cards tab.
-
Select the card you want to manage.
-
In Card Controls, use the toggle switches to enable or disable the transaction types
What types of transactions can I disable?
Online Payments (Card Not Present)
These are transactions where your card is not physically used—such as:
-
-
Buying items online (e.g., Amazon, eBay) using your card details.
-
Subscribing to services like Netflix or Spotify.
-
Paying for online courses on platforms like Coursera or Udemy.
-
International Transactions
These include purchases or ATM withdrawals made outside the U.S., or any transaction processed by a foreign merchant.
Examples:
-
Buying from a non-U.S. website that charges in a foreign currency.
-
Sending money internationally via PayPal or Wise.
-
Booking travel on sites like Airbnb or Booking.com with payment processed abroad.
Disabling these options can help prevent unauthorized transactions.
Why is my transaction being declined?
If your transaction is being rejected and it's an online or international purchase, check your Card Controls to make sure the relevant option isn’t disabled.
