What is the Recurring Transactions Section?
The Recurring Transactions section in our app is designed to help you manage and keep track of all your subscriptions, except for the B9 monthly subscription. This feature provides a clear overview of your recurring payments, making it easier for you to stay on top of your finances.
How are Recurring Transactions Identified?
Recurring transactions are identified based on the following criteria:
- There are at least two transactions.
- The transactions are for the same amount.
- The transactions are from the same merchant.
- The transactions occur on the same day of the month.
For instance, if you have a transaction of $4.99 from Amazon on May 10th and another transaction of $4.99 from Amazon on June 10th, these will be identified as recurring transactions. Once a transaction meets these criteria, it will appear in the Recurring Transactions section.
How to Access the Recurring Transactions Section
You can easily access the Recurring Transactions section in two ways:
-
Wallet Tab:
- Go to the Wallet tab.
- Select "Manage Recurring Payments."
-
Navigation Menu:
- Open the Navigation Menu.
- Select "Recurring."
Understanding Recurring Transactions Section States
The Recurring Transactions section will show all subscriptions expected to be charged in the current month. Here are the statuses you might see:
- Scheduled: The subscription is expected to be charged on a specific date.
- Paid: The subscription has been paid.
- Missed: The subscription was expected to be charged on a specific date but was not charged.
Note! The information in this section is based on your previous transaction history. It does not guarantee that these subscriptions will be charged. If you have canceled a subscription, it will not be charged. Additionally, you cannot cancel any subscriptions directly from the B9 app.
View Subscription History
You can click on the merchant to see the history of your paid subscriptions. This allows you to review past payments and stay informed about your subscription activity.
This feature is designed to provide you with a clear and organized view of your recurring payments, helping you manage your subscriptions more effectively.
How do I remove recurring payments?
Currently, we can display recurring payments based on your transaction history, but we don't have the ability to stop them from our end. To block a merchant, you'll need to contact them directly and cancel any preauthorized charges. Alternatively, you can block your card to prevent further charges from going through.
