If you want to add an external bank card to your B9 account, you can easily do so by following a few simple steps. Here's a step-by-step guide to adding an external bank card to B9:
Log in -> Go to the Cards Tab -> At the bottom of the Cards Tab, click “Link card” -> Press Continue -> System will request a selfie -> Fill out the card information -> Click “Add New Card”
You can add a maximum of 2 debit external bank cards as long as they are Visa or Mastercard. You can also delete or rename your card by going to the Cards Tab and clicking on “Edit”.
Having problems adding external card?
These are the most common problems with the inability to add an external card:
Invalid AVS: The billing address associated with the card you are trying to add does not match the billing address on your B9 account.
Make sure that the billing address you entered when adding the card to your B9 account matches the billing address associated with the card. Even a small typo or difference (ex. Street and St) in formatting can cause an AVS error. If the billing address associated with the card has changed, make sure to update it with the card issuer before attempting to add the card to your B9 account.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that if you've recently updated your address, it may take up to 24 hours for the new address to be reflected in the AVS (Address Verification System) database.
Push and Pull transaction features are disabled: It means that the card issuer has disabled certain types of transactions on the card.
If you receive this error message, you should contact the card issuer to determine why push and pull transactions have been disabled on the card. The card issuer may be able to provide additional information or enable the necessary features so that the card can be added to your B9 account. If you are unable to enable push and pull features on the card, you may need to consider using a different card to add to your B9 account.
You are trying to add Credit card: B9 currently only supports the use of debit or prepaid cards for external accounts.
If you are attempting to link a credit card, try using a different card that is a debit or prepaid card, as those are the only types of cards that B9 currently supports.
Wrong Card number or Security Code (CVV): If you receive an error message stating that there is an issue with the card number or CVV when attempting to add an external card to your B9 account, it is likely that there is a mistake in the information you entered.
Make sure that you have entered the correct card number and CVV. It's possible that you may have mistyped the information, so double-checking can help resolve the issue. If you are sure that you have entered the correct card number and CVV, it's possible that the card itself may be invalid or expired. In this case, try using a different card to add to your B9 account.
