At B9, we prioritize service and transparency for our clients. One aspect that may cause confusion is pending transactions.
What is a pending transaction?
A pending transaction is a transaction that has been initiated using your B9 card but has not yet been fully processed or settled by the merchant's bank. During this phase, the transaction amount may still be subject to adjustments, such as tips or changes made by the merchant.
Can I stop transaction from processing?
Unfortunately, once a transaction is initiated and marked as pending, B9 cannot intervene to stop it. The processing and finalization of the transaction are controlled by the merchant's bank and the payment network.
How long does it take for a transaction to complete?
The time it takes for a transaction to complete can vary. Generally, transactions are settled within a few days, depending on the merchant and their processing practices. Once settled, the transaction will appear as "completed" in your account, and the amount will be deducted from your available balance.
What should I do if I was charged the wrong amount?
If you have inquiries about pending transactions or believe you were charged the wrong amount, we recommend the following steps:
-
Contact the Merchant:
Reach out to the merchant directly. They can provide information regarding the transaction status and any adjustments that may have been made during the pending phase. -
Dispute After Settlement:
If you need to dispute a transaction, please wait until it has settled. Once settled, contact our support team for assistance in resolving the issue.
Pending transactions are a normal part of the process, and we appreciate your understanding.
